Late director Jeeva’s erstwhile assistant Srinath will don the role of a comedian in the flick. Srinath is, however, not new to comedy roles as such. He has already been featured in almost all of Jeeva’s movies, prominent ones including Dham Dhoom and Unnale Unnale. Srinath is currently directing Muthirai, which features Nithin Sathya, Daniel Balaji and Laksmi Rai.

Vettaikaran, on the other hand, is constantly in the news as one can see. The movie was recently in news with Vijay’s son making a fleeting cameo appearance in the title song.

Vettaikaran New Updates

Vijay’s next venture VETTAIKARAN is progressing at a very rapid speed. The second schedule has started now and is going on in and around Chennai. A few places where scenes were shot are Velachery and near by areas. Currently shooting is going on in Alwarpet. Afew important scenes involving Vijay is being canned here.

Already one song shoot has already got over. The Fight scenes of this movie will be shot soon in the coming week and this time the fight shots will be done in a very stylish manner and will be more realistic for sure and will be different from other Vijay films too.

Buzz is already that there is another heroine in Vettaikaran and it is Madalsha. But its not yet confirmed and official confirmation is still not made regarding this issue.

Vettaikkaran intro song costs 45 lakhs

Vettaikkaran which is the next movie of actor Vijay is taking its shape in Rajamundry which is a coastal district in Andhra Pradesh. The movie has Actor Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead and will also have a special item song with Namitha.

The shooting for this song is being canned on a costly set which is said to be made at a cost of 45 lakhs. The set was built by Milan and was completed by March 1st week. The whole shooting is taking place from the past three days and is said to be completed by March 23rd. dancer choreographer Shobi who zoomed into fame with the classy choreography in the movies Sivakasi and Villu is choreographing the into song in Vettaikkaran.

The director Babu Sivan is all said to carve this movie into a super hit and is sure that the movie will overtake Vijay’s previous movie VILLU in all aspects. Vijay will be seen in almost 4 varied roles in this film. His lady love in this film Anushka Shetty will play the role of a software engineer and is said to be ever glamorous in this film

Sanjay dances with dad Vijay in Vettaikaran

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s son Sanjay is making a special appearance with dad in a song for his new film Vettaikaran, produced by AVM Balasubramaniam! Sources close to the unit confirmed that Sanjay has done a dance number with Vijay shot by cameraman Gopinath and directed by Babu Shivam in Rajahmundry. Shobhi, who excels in mass songs, choreographed it in front of an Ayyanar temple set. Those on the sets said Sanjay a chip of the old block, as he danced well to his dad’s steps and impressed everybody. The old timers on the sets says that it was coincidental that Kamal Hassan too made his debut like Sanjay, as a child artist in a film produced by AVM (Kalathur Kannamma)! The song tuned by Vijay Antony is a high energy peppy fast number with lyrics by Kapilan. Says Vijay Antony: “It is a real fast number, better than my Nakku Mukka or Aathichudi. It is the introduction song of Vijay sir and has been composed to suit his style and dance.”

Post-the release of ‘Villu’, the actor has been meeting media channels during the occasion of theatre visits to various districts in Tamil Nadu.

Here’s one such video clipping that will shock the viewers to the extreme. When asked about the failure of Villu, the actor had managed to answer them. Meanwhile, unable to control his frustration, he changes his direction towards an unknown person who was arranging chairs in the room.
